Darnassus…again?
It's time to shift gears once more and move on to Felwood. However, due to where certain quests are, you're going to need to visit each of the three major Alliance cities. Do Darnassus last.
In Stormwind, you will want to find City Hall in the Cathedral District to finish the quest you picked up at the farm in Western Plaguelands, Better Late Than Never. At that point, look for Ol' Emma. She'll either be in the Trade District or the canals on the way to it. Look for the blip on your minimap.
In Ironforge, visit the Hall of Explorers to pick up the quest A Little Slime Goes a Long Way. This is a Felwood quest, so if you are to do this quest, you'd be best off grabbing it now.
In Darnassus, go turn in the Un'goro Soil quest and return the Arch Druid for the follow-up. You will get a morrowgrain pouch and a packet of seeds for use with your Un'goro Soil. Use up the seeds you have as you adventure, and leave it at that. You can auction off any other soil you have; some people mistakenly think that it's profitable for alchemists to continue to use the seeds and soil. (Since you have 20 seeds, you will eventually need 40 soil to use them up.) The morrowgrain quest is repeatable and there are two different places to turn them in. Use the pouch whenever you can remember to – it has a 10 minute cooldown. You'll get either some Morrowgrain or some random herbs.
Feel free to bank your quest items other than the morrowgrain-related materials.
Scene 1: Emerald Sanctuary (level 52/53)
Fly to Astranaar and set your hearthstone. Ride down the road until you can take it north into Felwood. When you reach the Emerald Sanctuary, scope out the quests there, as well as the flight point. You'll find Grazle across the road looking for allies to the Timbermaw Clan of furbolgs. And slightly back down the road and to the east is a druid, Arathandris Silversky, with one more quest. There are a lot of corrupted plants throughout the zone, and her quest leads to you being able to purify them for food/drink or buffs. It's a load of wasted inventory space, but mostly everyone does it anyway. We're only concerned with the first quest. What's more important is talking about the furbolgs, since they guard the tunnel to Winterspring, and we will set foot there very briefly just to say we were there.
However, they start off none-too-pleased with you. As a result, we will spend a little effort working on faction. If you bailed on the end of Act 13 in Eastern Plaguelands, put some extra time here to catch up on experience. In the southwest corner of the zone is a village for the Deadwood tribe of furbolgs. After completing Timbermaw Ally, you will get a repeatable follow-up, so turn in the quest immediately, and then hang out here until you are at least level 53 and are out of hostile with Timbermaw.
Quests completed: Timbermaw Ally
Flight points: Emerald Sanctuary (Felwood)
Scene 2: Oozing of Satyrs and Cultists (level 53)
You might want the Felwood map at this point:

Head for the Ruins of Constellas, which is in the western wall right where the road goes due north for the first time. The map area Ruins of Constellas is bigger that the actual ruins, so look around for a path up to the building on the map. Kill satyrs here to finish Corruption of the Jadefire. Watch out for stealthers. Because Xavithras is in the back, with lots of targets in the way, head directly for his area. Clear the area around him first just in case you need some room. Once he's dead, clear back toward the road, and you should have all the kills you need.
On your way back out, stop at one of the ooze pools and open up the case containing the jars for A Little Ooze Goes a Long Way. Kill 6 Cursed Oozes and use a jar on their bodies. Then go to the road, ride north to Bloodvenom Falls, and do the same thing for 6 Tainted Oozes.
Just north of this is Shatter Scar Vale, the site of Verifying the Corruption. Kill 2 of each fire elemental type, while being very careful to avoid the infernals that patrol through here. Step in the center of one of the craters, and then return back south across the river to Jaedenar.
Jaedenar can be a very annoying place. Stay topside. You will have to range well to the back and return to the road a few times to get all the cultist and adept kills you need if others are here.
Return to Emerald Sanctuary when you finish. Fly back to Astranaar if you need to sell.
Quests completed: The Corruption of the Jadefire, A Little Ooze Goes a Long Way, Verifying the Corruption, Forced of Jaedenar
Scene 3: Northern Felwood (level 53)
Return to Jaedenar and fight to the back where the sludge pool is. That's the corrupted moonwell you need to use the canteen on. Get back to the road once you fill it, and go ALL the way north to where the road turns east, and look for a small pool of water to the left of the road. Behind that pool is Jadefire Run.
In Jadefire Run, you will need to kill Xavaric and various assorted satyrs. Again, make a break for the named guy. He is to the left as you enter, and in the back cove. He is flanked by two guards, but they are single pull-able. Slay Xavaric and loot his flute. This will lead to another quest which has you simply killing satyrs, which is what you are already doing! So kill some satyrs until you finish both quests, and then return to the road. (Note: this is a popular botter hangout, but there are plenty of spawns if you're patient.)
Ride up the road past the Irontree Woods, and then hop off the edge to the south. Your goal is a cave that is marked on the map. Kill 15 of the thorn elementals there, and loot them. The quest item is a 100% drop rate.
Return to the road and ride east to the signpost that marks Talonbranch Glade. Follow the path to the rest stop.
Quests completed: Collection of the Corrupt Water, Further Corruption, Flute of Xavaric, Cleansing Felwood
Flight points: Talonbranch Glade (Felwood)
Scene 4: Into Winterspring (level 53)
We will now step into Winterspring. If you haven't gotten to unfriendly with the Timbermaw now, you might want to beat up on the Deadwood village in the north.
It's worth noting that this was the point where my quest log hit full, so if you need to, drop any loose straggling quests you are never going to do. (Instance quests you shouldn't have picked up, in particular. The additional quests for the Timbermaws can wait since we aren't attacking those now. You can also drop any Morrowgrain-related quests since it won't erase your morrowgrain or keep you from getting any…you have been using your pouch, right? You should be out of seeds or soil by now, and if you're out of seeds, feel free to destroy the pouch.
Ride north from Talonbranch Glade to Timbermaw Hold. There will be a fork partway through. Just keep going straight on through into Winterspring -- we have no need to be in Moonglade. As you exit, follow the road south, and when it turns east, keep going south to Donova Snowden. Talk to the dwarf about Linken, and she'll reforge his sword and give you a new quest to see a guy in Feralas you already have a quest to see.
We won't be doing much in Winterspring, but while we're here, ride due east along the road to the crossroads, and go north from there to Starfall Village. Mosey around, and then return to the crossroads and finish the trip east to Everlook. The only quests you should get from Everlook are the two in the inn from Gregor Graystone. Be sure to get the flight point behind the town – and in fact, use it to return to Emerald Sanctuary to complete your quests from the last scene.
Quests completed: It's a Secret to Everyone, To Winterspring, The Ruins of Kel'theril
Flight points: Everlook (Winterspring)
Scene 5: Gregan Brewspewer (level 53)
When you finish your Felwood quests, you'll get a few follow-ups – don't worry about getting the salve quests – and notice you have some errands to run at this point, including yet another to Darnassus. We'll save that for later. Our first stop is Ratchet, so fly to there. When you land, follow the coastline south to The Tidus Stair. (It's just north of the first pirate ship, on the end of a peninsula.) Talk to Islen Waterseer, and then go back to the flight master in Ratchet and take off for Feathermoon. Before leaving, consult the bank to make sure you have your Bloodpetal in your bags.
Arriving in Feralas, your first mission is to talk to Quintus at the top of the tree building and hand him 10 of your Morrowgrain. You will need 10 more to give to Darnassus, but you can spare the first 10 for Quint.
Then head over the mainland and ride north toward the Twin Colossals. When we were here the last time, you probably passed Gregan Brewspewer. He's on a ridge near the road at (45, 25).You have two quests to work on with him. One leads to a Sunken Temple quest, if you still have desire to go there. (You've probably completed or abandoned those by now.) The other requires you to purchase Bait to lure Miblon Snarltooth away from his small corner of the Ruins of Ravenwind (44, 10) so you can grab some Evoroot from inside. Return to Gregan with the Evoroot to get a Videre Elixir.
Then travel to Ironforge and complete A Little Slime Goes A Long Way to get the follow-up.
Quests completed: Seeking Spiritual Aid, The Mystery of Morrowgrain, A Visit to Gregan, The Videre Elixir
Scene 6: Burning Steppes (level 53/54)
Your quest log should be rather full, and that may mean abandoning some quests to pick up later. If you do, drop non-travel quests that begin near a flight point so you won't miss them when you return. We are going to yet another zone.

Before you leave Ironforge, talk to the King's advisor, Royal Historian Archenosus about the Smoldering Ruins of Thaurissan.
Fly to Lakeshire and head up the road to the north. As soon as you enter Burning Steppes proper, hang an immediate right and follow the wall to Morgan's Vigil. Get the flight point and the following two quests: Extinguish the Firegut and FIFTY! YEP!
The large mountain in the middle of the zone to the north is Dreadmaul Rock. Pass by there, killing ogres along the way. When you reach the north end of the zone, go west through the Ruins of Thaurissan to Flame Crest. You will see small tablets on the ground called Thaurissan Relics. Pick any up that are convenient, as you will need 12 eventually.
When you reach Flame Crest, grab the quests Tablet of the Seven and Broodling Essence. Return to the ruins and look for the tablet. When leaving Flame Crest, if you point directly at the distant statue of the man with the sword and shield, you will walk right into the tablet along the way. Return to complete the quest, and then finish picking up relics.
Head east to Dreadmaul Rock once more, and kill the ogres you need as you move around the northern slopes, and also kill any black dragon whelpling you see *AFTER* using the quest item zapper thingy on it so it will leave behind Broodling Essence.
Return to Morgan's Vigil when all are completed.
Quests completed: Extinguish the Firegut, Tablet of the Seven, Broodling Essence, The Smoldering Ruins of Thaurissan
Flight points: Morgan's Vigil (Burning Steppes)
Scene 7: Testing Your Medals (level 54)
Go west out to The Pillar of Ash and start killing orcs. Be wary of the level 57 Blackrock Slayers, but kill anything else you encounter. Obviously, pull carefully. Eventually you should find Gortesh in one of the buildings to the west. He doesn't come alone, so burn him down as quick as you can and run away. Come back to loot afterwards.
Once you have 50 medals, go turn them in to the crazy guy at Morgan's Vigil.
Travel up to Flame Crest and complete Broodling Essence, and then ride over to Dreadmaul Rock and find your way to the summit to plant Gortesh's head. Claim your prize back at Morgan's Vigil.
Quests completed: FIFTY! YEP!, Gortesh the Brute Lord, Ogre Head on a Stick = Party
Scene 8: Bugging Out and Getting Hot Flashes (level 54)
Make the return trip to Marshal's Refuge so we can clean up some of those Un'goro quests. All told, your quest log might look something like this:
- Felnok Steelspring (Burning Steppes)
- Little Pamela (Eastern Plaguelands)
- Demon Dogs (Eastern Plaguelands)
- Cleansed Water Returns to Felwood (Felwood)
- Felbound Ancients (Felwood)
- A Little Slime Goes a Long Way (Ironforge)
- The Smoldering Ruins of Thaurissan (Ironforge…ok, I forgot to turn it in ><)
- Moontouched Wildkin (Rut'theran Village)
- Pawn Captures Queen (Tanaris)
- Alien Ecology (Un'goro)
- The Videre Elixir(Un'goro)
- Beware of Pterrordax (Un'goro)
- Finding the Source (Un'goro)
- Lost! (Un'goro)
- The Mighty U'cha (Un'goro)
- The Bait for Lar'korwi (Un'goro)
- Duke Nicholas Zverenhoff (Winterspring)
- The Everlook Report (Winterspring)
- Threat of the Winterfall (Winterspring)
- Troubled Spirits of Kel'theril (Winterspring)
- Enraged Wildkin (Winterspring)
…and this is after having dropped a few that will be snagged once more eventually. We're concerned with all those Un'goro quests (except the Videre Elixir) and the Tanaris quest, Pawn Captures Queen. That particular quest will not be readily soloable, so if you have help available, use it.
Out of Marshal's Refuge, start off east to Fungal Rock. Enter the cave, stay to the left and follow that path back and around. The cave is shaped like a figure 8. The path that doesn't contain A-me 01 will eventually lead to U'cha. Kill him and move on.
Travel southeast to where the Eastern Crystal Pylon is. Behind it, there is a flat rock where you should use the two items in your pack to summon Lar'korwi. Kill him and move on.
Go south to Torwa Pathfinder, and finish both quests. Then go west to the Slithering Scar and fight your way into the hive. Stay completely to the right once you enter, and you will reach the hatchery. Prepare yourself before going in. Then single pull each of the three mobs in the room, get your hive scraping for Alien Ecology, prepare yourself once more, and then use the Gorishi Scent Gland. As soon as you do, two bugs will spawn and attack you. If it is at all possible, try to rest a little as the second one is about to die, because once you clear that wave, another round of three bugs will appear. Then two guards with the queen.
In truth, there's only one way to beat this quest solo. Wait for the room to respawn after clearing it, and then kill the patrol in the hall. (The respawn is entirely too fast, and as a result, the patrol will kill you mid-fight.) As soon as you initiate the fight, pull the two guards into the hall and kill them there. The second wave will not immediately attack you, and you can recover health and mana. The second wave is harder because there are three, so go all out on them. On the third wave, focus fire on the queen. If you kill her and can survive the fight, great. If not, loot her and make out your will.
Fight your way out (after rezzing), and head north. If you see any Primal Oozes, stop to fight them and bottle them. Be wary of these guys – they split at the end of the fight if you let them, and you don't get another primal ooze that you can bottle. I'm told you can use other oozes for the quest, but these guys are right in front of you. You should try to get all ten now, but your destination is the northeast corner of Fire Plume Ridge. Find the path leading to the bridge, and take it to the top of the mountain. As you reach the summit, turn right, and you should see a Fire Plume Ridge Hot Spot. This particular one is where you need to use Krakle's Thermometer.
Once that is done, head a bit south until you see Ringo on the minimap. Hop the edge to get down to his level, and wake him up. You'll need to escort Ringo back to Marshal's Refuge. There's nothing especially difficult about this escort, but keep a close eye on Ringo (use zoomed out camera so you can see him behind you) in case he faints and needs to be revived.
We're almost done! Leave the refuge southwest toward Golakka Hot Springs. Along the way to Krakle, kill any Frenzied Pterrordaxes you see. Kill any others you see on the way back.
Quests completed: The Mighty U'cha, The Bait For Lar'Korwi, Alien Ecology, Pawn Captures Queen, A Little Slime Goes A Long Way 2, Lost!, A Little Help From My Friends, Finding the Source, Beware of Pterrordax
Finale (level 54/55)
Fly back to Gadgetzan to finish Pawn Captures Queen. Hey, guess where we're going!
Go to Ironforge first, though. You have one quest to turn in there, or two if you were an idiot like me and forgot the one you had before as you flew by. While you're there, make sure you un-bank any quest items you have. At this point, you can probably carry them all at once again.
