Well, I'm going to say this, I signed up to this site just to review this game. It is the best MMORPG I have ever played, and that's saying a lot considering how many I've played. I would list them all but that would take way too long.

I found Perfect World through my brother who suggested it to me when I was complaining, as I do often, that I don't have any fun games to play. The PW International wasn't out when I started so I had to go with the Malaysian version with it's many typos, but it ran fast enough. Only took my computer three hours to download the massive thing.

To start off, there are a surprising amount of english speakers, in fact, they make up about 95% of the population in the game. Of those speakers, 90% are the most helpful people Ive ever met in the online gaming world. In fact, everyone I've met helped me if they weren't too busy and they did something you don't see a lot in games anymore, they did it for free! They didn't ask for some ridiculus price or anything. There are a few people that piss you off, but hey, you get those in any game.

Community - 10/10

GM's are more active than I've seen in any game as well. That's very refreshing. When I had a problem all I really had to do was message the active GM and they helped me relatively quickly. I don't know if I just got lucky or if they really are that good but hey, thumbs up to them. There ARE rumors about them though. The servers go slow sometimes and people accuse them of using the servers to download...er..."questionable media." There is no proof that I know of but....a whole server can't be wrong....

Now, let me get to the big thing that everyone wants in a game and no game can go without: Gameplay. Now this is were Perfect World shines, leveling is fairly easy for the first 40 levels. Quests(which there is a huge amount of) will basically level you up to level 20 within the first two or three hours. I made a few new characters and got to level 20 within one hour. After level 40 however, the quests help a lot but you will find yourself grinding a bit more and more. HOWEVER, at level 30 you get a repeatable quest that will give you a massive amount of exp every day. It's helped me so much and I got to level 40+ within two weeks of playing the game. (Note: this time is from someone that has no life)

I've been playing this game since about 6 months before International came out and I still have fun. While I did take a two month break from the game, it's still fun.

Like a reviewer before me mentioned, your guild can battle for territory, but the thing is, one guild known as Warlord (in Oracle server) basically owns the map and, sadly, that doesn't seem like it's going to change anytime soon. So guilds don't really expect to own any land already owned by Warlord. I'm waiting for the day that they suddenly disband or dissapear or something. Anything to get that map in my own hands. *sinister smile*

Some of the many quests in this game rely on party play. Such as what's know in the malaysian version as an fb (a quest you get at level 19,29,39,49, etc...) and most boss quests require very high level people to help you. Most people will help if you just ask, in fact, you can see people in world chat asking you to message them if you need help with fb's or boss runs.

One thing I do like is that this game make power leveling impossible. So there aren't a bunch of little low levels begging for a plvl'er. I help many people, as do many people, but I would not power level people.

There isn't much I can complain about, actually, I can't find anything to complain about.

Gameplay - 10/10

Graphically, this game is the best free game I've played in a long time. My computer can't handle it at the full graphics, so I don't know the full scale of the great graphics. The land is vast and there is so much to see. I've gone around just to explore the beautiful land ad let me tell you...it takes quite a while to run across it...

This game also has one of the most detailed character creation I've ever seen. Usually you just pick a face and hair and thats it, but in this game you can change almost every aspect of the face.

Well, I have played Perfect World for a long time, and I will play for a long time to come. But...I cant right now...my account got banned for some stupid stuff I did.
