And let me explain.
I had a rogue who I quit playing at 56. I went back to check in on him and sent
him to AV. At the entrance to AV are 6 or so quests. Inside AV are 6 or so
quests.
Each quests you do the first time gets you 5500 exp.
(Until the patch nerf of 1.10) Anytime you are in AV you get rep from people
urning stuff in.
Every NPC you kill gets you exp (if are in a group just hanging with the group
will get you exp as the go get gys and mines and such).
Joining the raid group means you get some honor for every kill they make.
If you have the higher NPC guards (gotten from turning in armor scraps) they
guard near the mine. You pull baddies from the mine to the guards and you get
the exp. If you are a lowbie, hang out in the caves to the south and grind on
that (for horde) or the items to the north for Alliance.
So you join av, join the group, and head off to whatever task KILLS NPCS. You
get the thrill of PVP, the rep of AV, and the EXP of a slow grind.
For the Horde, when waiting for AV you can run N to West Plaguelands/Eastern
Plaguelands and run quests while you wait.
I did about 4 silithus quests in addition to AV and went from 56 to 58 with the
rogue. Meanwhile I'm almost reverered and am Rank 4 with my rogue in PVP. Course
this was rested exp but he hasn't run out of rested exp cause I'm slowing downt
the grind by running AV
It would go a lot faster but our horde side can't win AV to save their life.
