this may be common knowlege but i just heard about it and think its good to know. the quest line can be started at level 47 though will be quite dangerous for anyone that level to attempt.


this is a quest in un'goro crater that allows anyone to make special soulbound buff crystals once the quest line is completed.

for the first quest you must collect 7 of each color of crystal. four colors in all. the crystals can be dropped by mobs in the area and can be harvested from crystal nodes throughout the zone.

the next 3 quest have you searching for pylons in un' goro crater. the coordinates provided should make short work of it. i suggest using map notes (cosmos) or an add-on like it to mark the locations for future reference.

i haven't actually done these quests yet as i have just heard about it. i plan on doing this tonight. if any information is off i will correct it when i can.

simply speak to the quest npc and wait a moment then talk to her again. once sompleted you should recieve the crystal pylons user manual.

now that all thats done you can now create the following crystals for buffs using the book, pylons and crystal of power combinations.

nottice the "who" line contains which pylon you must visit to create the wanted crystal.

i realize alchemy can handle alot of whats offered here as well but i saw this as quite a nice alternative. the crystals are abundant so its a cheap alternative with ingredients that are fairly easy to come by. plus, anyone can make them after completing these quests.
