ALLIANCE AND HORDE!
In Dustwallow Marsh, to the west there is a cave called "The Darkmist Cavern"
where the Darkmist spiders frolock and play. It is here you will find your
fortune and experience my friends!
The spiders outside range from level 35-37, while the spiders inside range from
37-39. A Dustwallow Marsh quest brings you here to find spider eyes. The spiders
give about 200-250 xp for me when i was soloing it (Lvl 38+ pally) and dropped
very interesting stuff to sell to NPCs. Heres a list:
Dripping Spider Mantible: This is the most frequent drop off the spiders
I've found, and it arranges in stacks of 5. These stacks of 5 go for 30 silver
each on the vendor. Yes, FIVE of them go for 30 silver. I'd say theres a 70%
drop rate of these, I managed to collect over 2 golds worth in 30 minutes.
Shadow Silk: This drops not so often, but goes for 10 silver each.
Thick Spider Silk: Also dropping moreso then Shadow Silk, this goes for
about 7 silver each.
Hard Spider Leg Tip: This drops the second most out of all listed above
and sells for about 5 silver each.
Ok so with all the drops, you can leave with well over 3-5 gold's worth in maybe
30 min-1 hour. This mine also has a frequent chest with goodies, and is GREAT
for mining too! Its very common in Iron Ore, but I've found Gold, Mithril and
Truesilver!
So for all those who look to farm and gain levels like me, head to the Darkmist
Caverns. It's to the west of Theramore, and north of the Ogre Camp for you Horde
people. HAVE FUN!
