This post has two tricks. The first, for best results, requires your guild to of killed aran. The second requires one very dead (and looted) aran. Both "exploits" can cause you to lose rep with your guild mates if they find out you have been using the tricks. ________________________ The first is a rogue or druid can solo the chess event again IF their guild has killed aran. If their guild has not killed aran, but still killed a boss, they might be able to solo the chess event. Virtually all of the monsters, with the exception of the arcane guardians, can not see through stealth anymore. At the very least they can stealth up to where nightbane is summoned, while, previously, they could not without being seen by the first three undead pulls. I know there was a way to get to it by going by the prince and then falling though a crack, but I do not know if it still works, nor did I figure out how it worked. The event seems to be rather random. On one of the tries, medive cheated only once and healed one of his footmen that couldn't really attack anything (/lol /bored /gloat); unfortunately, I had virtually the entire board going after my warchief. On another attempt, medive cheated and charged literally six pieces with his essence, followed by dousing the warchief with flames. On my third from last attempt I got the king down to 2% HP before mediev cheated THREE times in five seconds, and charged him with his essence, healed him, and doused my warchief with flames. Eventually I gave up without beating it. ________________________________ If you wait for about 30 minutes to 3 hours, all of the monsters between the curator and aran will automaticly despawn. From there you can loot as many of the books as you want. However, eventually the tomes will stop giving you books and start giving you debuffs instead. Some of the debuffs can be really nasty, but all of them can be removed by a paladin/druid/priest/mage. Anyways, the trick to this is to use a book right after looting it. This will leave a page behind in your inventory that sells for 15 silver to a vendor. The books are unique and will automaticly leave your inventory if you leave kara. The books will automaticly respawn after 12 hours. Once you leave kara you also loss the buff the books give you. However, they stay in your inventory if you are dead and running back into kara.
