mog house and inventory expansion updates
This was found concerning the Mog House Quest, which expands your mog
safe:
1:You need to set your Bronze Bed in your original country.
this quest will pop up after conquest counting on each Monday 0AM in Japan.
Moogle will ask you for a Power Bow and Beetle Ring
2:After you finish the first bed quest, put a Mahogany Bed in your original Mog
house, and his quest will pop up after conquest counting on each Monday 0AM in
Japan. Moogle will ask you for a Shrimp Lure and Selbina Butter.
3:After you finish the second bed quest, put a Noble Bed in your original Mog
house, and his quest will pop up after conquest counting on each Monday 0AM in
Japan. Moogle will ask you for a Wool Hat, and a Raptor Mantle.
These quests will upgrade your mog house from 50 -> 60 -> 70 -> 80. Getting to
full mog house capacity requires a good deal of fame: but you already know how
to exploit that, info available at
http://www.multiplayerstrategies.com/ms/index.cfm?page=topic&topicID=7172
for fame exploiting. While the exact fame levels required for each I couldn't
tell you (I believe it's fame lvl 3 for the first expansion), what is known for
sure is you need no higher than rank 3 to completely upgrade your mog house. Not
too shabby, huh? But do note, the last two beds are really expensive. Mahogany
is upwards of 40-60k, and the noble bed is like 90-100k. It's strongly
suggest you 'share' a bed with your friends, each pitching a certain amount and
then using the same bed to complete the quests one at a time.
This was found concerning the GobbieBag quests that expand your inventory:
1.Talk to Bluffnix (Goblin Junk Shop) in Lower Jeuno. Bluffnix will ask you for
Dhalmel Leather, Linen Cloth, Steel Ingot, Peridot. After you give him all he
want, he will make your inventory max out at 35 (+5). All 4 items are available
under materials: Dhamel Leather = leathercraft, Linen Cloth = clothes craft,
Steel ingot = smithing, Peridot = goldsmithing. The peridot is rather rare to
come by, and was in fact only avialable in Jeuno, where it sold for
significantly less than price histories in the town, too. (10k for the peridot).
2.Talk to Bluffnix in Lower Jeuno after you finish Goblin Bag Quest 1. Bluffnix
will ask you for Ram Leather, Wool Cloth, Mythril Ingot,
Turquoise. After you give him all he want, he will make your inventory limit
(+5). Again, these are all under materials, and the exact same corresponding
categories. Each are more expneisve, though.
3.Talk to Bluffnix in Lower Jeuno after you finish Goblin Bag Quest 2. Bluffnix
will ask you for Tiger Leather, Velvet Cloth, Gold Ingot, Painite. After you
give him all he want, he will make your bag limit up to 45.(+5) Hella expensive
stuff, all avialable under materials, same spots.
4.Talk to Bluffnix in Lower Jeuno after you finish Goblin Bag Quest 3. Bluffnix
will ask you for Cermet Chunk, Silk Cloth, Darksteal Ingot,Goshenite. After you
give him all he want, he will make your bag limit up to 50. Requires a hell of a
lot of fame, and some REALLY EXPENSIVE ITEMS, which are, again, all available in
the same materials categories (noticing a pattern? ;) ).
I found certain items rare, but all seemed to be avialable at Jeuno's AH on my
server.
Combine your newfound 80 Mog Safe slots with 50 Inventory slots, and the +6
delivery box slots to store stuff in (leaving two slots open to easily access
gil from AH sales without having to remove stuff), and you have as close to
infinite inventory as you'll ever need.
There are rumours of even ADDITIONAL additions to your gobbiebag, involving even
RARER materials *wink Aotan*, but the exact translations and stuff are kind of
sketchy, and this should keep you all broke and busy for a while as is.
