The Rogue, for me, was rather easy to do a Talent build for, since(in my
opinion) a my job, as a Rouge, job is to dish it all out in the first 10 - 20
seconds. So it is probably not a surprise that I went mostly "Assassination".
Assassination Talents (39 points)
Improved Eviscerate - 3/3 points
Increases the damage done by your Eviscerate ability by 15%. Not much here, but
it will make a difference later on. Here is the lvl 56 Eviscerate:
Finishing move that causes damage per combo point:
1 point: 216-312 damage (Efficiency: 7.54 average damage per energy)
2 points: 384-480 damage (Efficiency: 12.34 average damage per energy)
3 points: 552-648 damage (Efficiency: 17.14 average damage per energy)
4 points: 720-816 damage (Efficiency: 21.94 average damage per energy)
5 points: 888-984 damage (Efficiency: 26.74 average damage per energy)
Malice - 5/5 points
Increases your critical strike chance by 5%. This, for me, was a "drool" skill,
you mean my Agi raises my crit a decent amount AND I can raise it here 5%
more... drool.....
Ruthlessness - 3/3 points
Gives your finishing moves a 60% chance to add a combo point to your target.
More combo points obtained faster = getting off faster 5 point Eviscerates.
Relentless Strikes - 1/1 point
Your finishing moves have a 20% chance per combo point to restore 25 energy. I
would have liked to see a higher % here but for only 1 point...
Lethality - 5/5 points
Increases the critical strike damage bonus of your Sinister Strike, Gouge,
Backstab, Ambush, Ghostly Strike, or Hemorrhage ability by 30%. Basic damage add
here.
Improved Instant Poison - 5/5 points
Increases the chance to apply Instant Poison to your target by 10%. Which makes
it a base of 25%, 1 out of every 4 hits...
Vile Poisons - 5/5 points
Increases the damage dealt by your poisons by 15%. More damage, notice this
applies to both types of poisons.
Improved Deadly Poison - 5/5 points
Increases the chance to apply Deadly Poison to your target by 15%. Another 25%
here on the other hand wep - so now with each poison on each weapon with a 25%
of proc'ing, your base damage just sky rocketed.(As long as they do not nerf
poison)
Cold Blood - 1/1 point
When activated, increases the critical strike chance of your next Sinister
Strike, Backstab, Ambush, or Eviscerate by 100%. Save this for that 5 point
Eviscerate :)
Seal Fate - 5/5 points
Your critical strikes from abilities that add combo points have a 100% chance to
add an additional combo point. Remember what I said earlier about faster points
= faster 5 point Eviscerates :)
Vigor - 1/1 point
Increases your maximum Energy by 10. This probably wont help out much in the
prolonged battles but at the start it gives you a clear advantage.
Combat Talents (3 points)
Improved Gouge - 3/3 points
Increases the effect duration of your Gouge ability by 1.5 seconds. 1.5 secs is
long enough to get an extra "tick" in your energy bar.
Subtlety Talents (9 points)
Master of Deception - 5/5 points
Reduces the chance enemies have to detect you while in Stealth mode. More
effective than Master of Deception (Rank 4) I believe 95% of rouges will take
this skill, because as a Rouge you cant allot of your skills unless stealthed.
Opportunity - 4/5 points
Increases the damage dealt when striking from behind with your Backstab,
Garrote, or Ambush abilities by 16%. More damage here and I needed to place the
last 4 points... |
