This strategy isn't as popular as it should or could be.

Winterspring, well known for the notorius owl thicket farming, is more of a gold mine than previously thought.

In southern winterspring, there is a place called Darkwhisper Gorge. Darkwhisper Gorge is pretty well known for its constant farming for a rare drop called the Eye of Shadow, but not so well known for its consistent spawns of Rich Thorium Veins. It is a miner's goldmine, depending on your class, you can easily penetrate to the end of the small zone and get to the farther, untouched mines.

Now, I know what you are thinking, "Omg, why do rogues and druids get all the cool stealth strats, and we other classes don't." Well, if you have the cunning, you can get to where you will only have to fight one or two mobs in between mines, depending on your class you can solo the mobs with ease. Some classes, like warrior, will have an extremely tough time getting to the mines though.



If you can't handle the Darkwhisper Gorge, try this :
Go hit up the Owl Wing Thicket, one of the best grinding spots for great vendor trash and thorium tends to spawn near them as well. If you grind these for a long enough time, you will be bound to get a crystal, not to mention alot of vendor goods.
